Glorious sunrise with your puffs of rose over soft blue,
no sounds but awakening birds to sing me into this new day.
Glorious sun rising over the fairy wing flutter of tiny hummingbirds
arriving for their first long sips of liquid breakfast candy.
Glorious sunrise turning deep black to forest green
frosted with glistening pink and chartreuse.
Glorious sunrise replacing our evenings of reflection
with soft promises and possibilities.
Glorious sunrise, host of our hopes, creator of desire,
the eternal commencement of every possibility.
